FAQ
The questions I’m asked most before we start working together. Can’t find your answer? Just get in touch.
Getting started
Where should I start?
The best place to start is a free 15 minute discovery call. It’s a chance for us to talk, for you to tell me what you’ve been experiencing, and for us to work out which next step makes the most sense for you.
What happens on a discovery call?
Your discovery call is a short, focused conversation to help us both understand whether working together is the right fit. I’ll listen to what’s going on, explain how I work and guide you towards the most suitable option, whether that’s an initial consultation, follow-up support, testing or a package.
Do I need to know which service I want before booking?
No. You don’t need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. If you’re unsure, book a discovery call first and I’ll help you choose the right next step.
Consultations
What is included in an initial consultation?
An initial consultation is a 1.5 hour session where I take the time to understand your full health story: your symptoms, health history, nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, previous testing and wider patterns. You’ll also receive personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance, food diary feedback, a review of any current test results and recommendations for functional testing if needed.
What is a follow-up consultation for?
A follow-up is a 45 minute session where we review your progress, talk through any new symptoms, interpret testing where relevant and adjust your plan. It keeps your support focused, practical and responsive to what your body is showing.
Can I book a follow-up without an initial consultation?
Usually, the initial consultation comes first so I have a full understanding of your health background and needs. If you’re unsure what to book, start with a free discovery call.
Are consultations available online?
Yes. I offer online consultations, so you can work with me from anywhere in the UK or internationally.
Are in-person consultations available?
Yes. I see clients in person at my clinic in Cheltenham.
Packages
What is the Kickstart Package?
The Kickstart Package includes one initial consultation and one 45 minute follow-up. It’s for you if you’d like a clear starting point, a personalised plan and support to begin making meaningful changes.
What is the Lifestyle Package?
The Lifestyle Package includes one initial consultation and three 45 minute follow-ups. It’s for you if you’d like deeper ongoing support, with more structure, accountability and guidance over time.
What is The Dekode Protocol?
The Dekode Protocol is my signature programme. It’s a structured, personalised pathway designed to help you understand what your body needs and move forward with clarity. It includes an initial consultation and guided follow-up support.
Which package is right for me?
That depends on where you’re starting from and how much support you’d like. If you want a clear introduction to working with me, the Kickstart Package may be a good fit. If you need more ongoing support and accountability, the Lifestyle Package or Dekode Protocol may suit you better.
My approach
What makes your approach different?
I look at the body as a whole, connected system rather than treating symptoms in isolation. I draw on naturopathy, biomedicine and naturopathic nutrition to help identify patterns, understand root causes and create a personalised path forward.
Do you diagnose medical conditions?
No. I don’t diagnose, treat or replace medical care. My approach is designed to support your wellbeing and help you better understand your body. Please continue to work with your GP or medical provider for diagnosis, medication, acute symptoms or emergency care.
Do you work alongside my GP?
Yes. My work is designed to complement your existing care, not replace it. I always encourage clients to keep a relationship with their GP or primary care provider, especially for urgent, acute or medical concerns.
What does “root cause” mean?
Root cause means looking beyond the symptom itself and asking what may be driving it. This might include nutrition, digestion, stress, sleep, hormonal patterns, lifestyle, environment or wider imbalances in the body.
Do you specialise in specific conditions?
I don’t separate the body into isolated systems. Instead, I look at the full picture and work to understand how different systems may be influencing one another.
Nutrition, Lifestyle and Support
Will I receive a personalised plan?
Yes. After your initial consultation, I create personalised nutrition and lifestyle guidance based on your symptoms, goals, history and daily life.
Is the plan realistic to follow?
Yes. My aim is to create a plan that feels practical and achievable, not overwhelming. It’s about making changes that fit into your real life and support long-term wellbeing.
Do I need to follow a strict diet?
Not necessarily. My approach is rooted in food as medicine, but it isn’t about extreme restriction. Your plan will be tailored to your body, your goals and what’s realistic for you.
What is food diary analysis?
Food diary analysis helps me understand your eating patterns, symptoms, energy, digestion and daily habits. It can reveal useful links between what you eat, how you feel and what your body may need.
What is meal logging via the app?
Some packages include meal logging through an app, so I can review patterns, give feedback and support your progress between sessions.
